You’ll have no need for the car, so put the keys away, with the beach across the road and Orewa township just a short easy walk away you can truly kick back and enjoy what Orewa Beach has to offer.

Located at the end of a block of 3 townhouses with a carpark outside, this 2 level townhouse offers an open plan kitchen, living, dining and bathroom that opens out to a cute private courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine, your morning coffee, BBQ or just chill and read a book.
Bedrooms are upstairs, master offers Queen bed complete with a peep of the beach across the road from the top balcony. Second room has a King single bed so suitable for both adult or child. Downstairs a double sofa bed in the lounge can be pulled out to accommodate 1 more if required. A port-a-cot is also available should you need.
No matter the time of year you’re planning your getaway to the Hibiscus Coast, The Beach Pad has you covered with double glazing and a heat pump on each level for winter warmth that also acts as an air-conditioner during those warm summer months!
Just seconds from the sparkling waters and expansive seashore of beautiful Orewa Beach, the Beach Pad is tucked behind a local beachside restaurant that has even offered to deliver to your door! Orewa has a large selection of fabulous cafes and restaurants so plenty to choose from if you don’t fancy being in the kitchen. If you’d rather a night or two in, you’ll appreciate the well catered for kitchen that also includes a Nespresso coffee machine for you to enjoy.
Beach access is right outside your door via the blue gate past the restaurant. We’ve even thrown in a few boogie boards for some extra fun when the surfs up!

Only 25-30mins by car north of CBD Auckland, Orewa is a popular spot. With arguably one of the best beaches in New Zealand, Orewa Beach offers a beautiful sandy beach, safe for swimming, very popular by young and old for fishing, walking or enjoying a picnic. A great kids playground and reserve is just across the road bordering the beach. It’s a great base to explore the Hibiscus Coast and further north.
This is as good as it gets! Orewa’s beach spreads inland from the edge of a magnificent three kilometre beach. The beach extends along the length of the town, providing a broad sandy promenade at low tide. Extensive grassy reserves and a children’s playground border the beach. The town centre itself has a great variety of shops and services, boulevard restaurants, banks, supermarkets, dairies and accommodation all within close walking distance. Orewa is a great destination if you like swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing and kite surfing. For coastal views, you can’t beat a stroll along the Millennium Walkway. Beyond the beach, entertainment possibilities within easy reach of Orewa include golf at Gulf Harbour, wine trails, hiking in regional parks, ten pin bowling, cycling, cinema, horse riding, go-carting, indoor skiing and further shopping in Silverdale.
